Breathwork is an all-natural invitation to our bodies to process and let go of “stuff” that is being carried in our bodies and getting in the way of optimal healthy living. It gives all of our ‘stuff’ the permission and invitation it needs to make its way out of our bodies; and to leave us feeling lighter, freer, and healthier.
In general, breathwork uses a style of breathing called connected mouth-breathing, which involves taking deep breaths in and out through the mouth continuously without stopping. This style of breathing awakens and activates the nervous system and invites the “stuff” that is stuck or buried inside to awaken and start moving through us so it can be processed and released.
SomatIQ® Breathwork is a style that is optimized for maximal safety and healing. It includes guided integration breathing as part of the journey, so by the end of the journey you will be in a deeply calm and grounded state.
Breathwork can be a big experience, with powerful sensations and emotions making their way through the body. I will be by your side throughout the process to make sure you feel safe and supported so you can let go and immerse yourself in the journey.
